A new way to invest in water.

Mission & Vision

WaterWorks seeks to advance potential water solutions by introducing people to investment opportunities in technology companies and projects seeking capital at WaterWorksFund.com.

Build a water investment community.

Present water investment opportunities.

Help advance potential water solutions.

Many innovative technologies and projects exist to help solve our water problems, but too often finding investment capital for these solutions is difficult.

What’s required is more, now. More people, more ideas, more partnerships, more technology and financing. And it starts by asking for it. That’s where WaterWorks comes in.

Why you may want to invest in WaterWorks

  1. HELP BUILD A WATER INVESTING COMMUNITY.
We’re the first and only online investing platform focused solely on the water sector. In the next three years, we seek to build a community of 40,000+ water investors to bring $80+ million in funding to over 150 water investments.
  2. WE'RE COMBINING TWO GROWING TRENDS: ONLINE & SUSTAINABLE INVESTING
Since May of 2016, more than 2,000 businesses have raised over $330 million via online investing sites.1 Three-quarters of investors and 86% of millennials are interested in sustainable investing.2
  3. STRONG TEAM.
In addition to national water, finance and policy leaders, our team includes individuals who helped transform national political fundraising into an online digital process. We seek to do it again for water investing.
  4. NATIONWIDE PARTNERSHIPS.
WaterWorks has established partnerships with The Water Council in Milwaukee, the Cleveland Water Alliance, TMA BlueTech in San Diego, WaterStart in Nevada and Accelerate H2O in Texas.
  5. OUR ETHICS.
We won’t buy water. We won’t sell water. We won’t privatize water. As water cycles through the world, it is our shared responsibility and duty to maintain and steward this life-sustaining and finite resource for public good.

We believe...

Water Solution Investment Opportunities

We intend to offer debt and equity investments in water projects and companies that plan to use innovative technologies to help solve water problems. We're often asked what are some types of potential water solution investments. Here's a start...

Growing problems require growing solutions.

Not water crisis. Crises. Plural.

  • We believe our water problems are coming at a pace and scale we’re too often not ready for. And because of climate change, population growth, limited public funds, and aging infrastructure, we believe it’s going to get worse.
  • A lack of early-stage investors and capital for water solution companies slows the development and adoption of needed technology in the sector.
  • Institutional investment models hinder the sourcing, due diligence, transaction and management of small investments.
  • Accredited and retail investors have limited investment exposure and opportunities to early-stage water companies.

Our solution: More.

  • More people, more ideas, more partnerships, more technology and financing. And it starts by asking for it. That’s where WaterWorks comes in.
  • Let's democratize water investment opportunities for investors and increase access to capital for potential solution providers, creating an ever-expanding community to help drive water solutions to scale.
  • The WaterWorks community will seek to help fix water problems that never get solved, with approaches that might have never been tried.

Online Investing. The internet has changed everything. Now it’s water’s turn...

Within public stock markets, charitable causes and political donations, the internet has significantly disrupted the way capital is collected and deployed.

Thanks to a law that went into effect in May of 2016, Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF), private businesses have the ability to raise investment capital from both accredited and non-accredited (retail) individual investors online. In addition, the law allows digital marketing of offerings. Since May of 2016, over $330M has been raised by over 2,000 businesses under various forms of equity crowdfunding.

We think this new law is uniquely positioned to help bring capital to the often small, private and fragmented water technology investment space.

Many innovative technologies and projects exist to help solve our water problems, but too often finding investment capital for these solutions is difficult. Venture capitalists, private equity funds, and philanthropic financiers just aren’t always built to source, finance, and manage thousands of small investments in water solutions.

But now imagine if 300 water investors could easily discover a technology they wanted to see advanced and could transact an investment to help get the solution to the market. From their phones…. The technology and laws now allow this.

WaterWorks will be that place. A place for people to learn about water challenges and become partners on potential solutions by investing and owning a piece of the project or company.

We can’t wait...not for government spending, banks, or philanthropy. And water can’t wait.

Growth Drivers – Things We Have to Get Right

1. Build, service and retain an investor community.
Our team helped pioneer and lead the transition of political fundraising from an event and insider process (think chicken dinners and lobbyists) to a digital process, forever changing how funds get raised in politics. Now, by focusing solely on water, with each investment offering we complete we are building an investor community that could potentially be interested in additional water investment opportunities.

2. Sourcing quality companies and projects seeking investments.
We will find investment offerings by working with our organizational partners, advisory board members, industry leaders, and advertising.

3. Executing smooth and compliant investment transactions.
We've spent two years and hundreds of thousands of dollars developing systems and procedures to guide companies and investors through a straightforward process.

4. Stimulating the Network Effect.

Q & A

WHAT DOES WATERWORKS DO? HOW?

WaterWorks introduces investors to companies seeking investment capital. Securities laws allow people over 18 years old to invest directly in private company securities via SEC-registered and FINRA-member online investing platforms. In addition, solicitation for those investments can be made via email, internet, and social media.

WaterWorks is not a fund, does not manage money, nor give investment advice.

WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA HERE?

WaterWorks seeks to democratize water investment opportunities for investors, access to capital for potential solution providers and create an ever-expanding community to help drive water solutions to scale. Investors may find opportunities, water projects or companies may find capital, and potential solutions may be accelerated.

We’ve witnessed the positive transformation that can be brought about by digital fundraising in the charitable and political sectors. By combining this new online investing law with the growth of sustainable investing we believe raising investment capital for water technologies and projects can have a similar disruption path and potential.

WHY WATER?

We believe that water problems are coming at a pace and scale that we’re too often not ready for and because of climate change, population growth, limited public funds, and aging infrastructure we believe it’s going to get worse. Think lead crises, boil water alerts, PFAS, and plastics in the ocean, or just watch bottled water sales figures.

The WaterWorks community will seek to help fix water problems that never get solved, with approaches that might have never been tried. If technology and new solutions can revolutionize how water can be protected and used, then we believe that a new way to finance and invest in those opportunities needs to be built.

To meet our water challenges will require more. More people, ideas, partnerships, technology, and financing. And it starts by asking for it. That’s where WaterWorks comes in.

WHAT KIND OF INVESTMENTS DOES WATERWORKS INTEND TO LIST?

We intend to offer debt and equity investments in water projects and companies that plan to use innovative technologies such as data acquisition and analytics (e.g., artificial intelligence (AI), Internet-of-Things (IoT), blockchain) and new materials (e.g. nanomaterials) along with public-private partnerships (P3’s) to help solve water problems.

WHAT ENTITY IS AN INVESTOR INVESTING INTO WITH THIS OFFERING?

This offering of Securities is an opportunity to invest in WWF Holdings, Inc., a Delaware Corporation. WWF Crowd, LLC, WWF Platform, LLC, WWF Agency, LLC, WWF Funding Portal, LLC (Member, FINRA), are wholly-owned subsidiaries of WWF Holdings, Inc. Please refer to the corporate structure chart below.

HOW DOES WATERWORKS EARN REVENUE?

We earn revenue from:

  • Charging an average 5% cash listing fee and a 5% securities listing fee to the Issuer of each successful Reg CF offering. There are no fees charged to investors. As needed, we may seek to monetize these securities to support the company’s business operations and growth plan.
  • Marketing services from the companies seeking capital on our site.
  • Listing fees for Reg D investment funds listed on our site.

WHAT ARE WATERWORKS' LONG TERM GOALS?

Our long term goals:

  1. Create a 100,000+ water investor community.
  2. Develop and offer specialized geographic, organizational or solution-based investment funds.
  3. Become the collaborative, digital platform where water problems are presented, solutions created and operations financed.

HOW DOES WATERWORKS FIND INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES?

WaterWorks will find investments working with our organizational partners, advisory board members, industry leaders and advertising.

HOW DOES WATERWORKS FIND INVESTORS?

With the help of WaterWorks, each issuer will create their own marketing campaign to attract investors to their offerings. In addition, WaterWorks will communicate with potential investors and our partners to promote offerings.

HOW IS WATERWORKS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CROWDFUNDING SITES?

WaterWorks is solely focused on the water sector. With each investment offering we complete, we are building a water investor community that could potentially be interested in additional opportunities.

WHAT MAKES THE WATERWORKS TEAM DIFFERENT?

Along with water and financing professionals, we’re led in part by a team that pioneered and led the transition of political fundraising from an event and insider driven process (think chicken dinners and lobbyists) to a digital process, forever changing how funds get raised in politics. We seek to do it again, but this time for the water sector.
